One of the three Beachbody vital behaviors is INVITE, INVITE, INVITE. However, many of you may feel uncomfortable flooding your personal Facebook newsfeed with fitness-related material. I know I certainly did. Creating Facebook Page is a good option for you. That way, you can post relevant wellness information to those who have OPTED IN to see it without alienating your IRL (in real life) friends. Plus, you’ll be building brand recognition for yourself as a coach in the process.
Your Facebook Like Page:
What to name my page? If you are thinking of doing a blog one day, I’d first check to see if that name is registered so they will be consistent. You can check that on GoDaddy.com. That way, you’ll start building personal brand recognition. Once you’ve come up with a name you like, you are ready to create your page. Visit this link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/create/ and follow the steps to create a page. Then, I’d suggest inviting your fitness-minded friends.
What to post? DO NOT spam your page with only Beachbody related posts. You don’t want it to look like an advertisement for T25 or P90X. Instead, provide VALUE to your readers. Recipes, motivational quotes, links to relevant articles, etc. are all good things to post. If you do post recipes, be wary of copyright laws. Never include the full text to the recipe. Always give credit to the original publisher and link to the original blog post. Rhonna designs (an iPhone app) is a great place to create one-of-a-kind images for motivational quotes. You can even include a link to your Facebook page or blog on them and pin them to Pinterest.
