80 Day Obsession Workout Calendar
80 Day Obsession is the new program that was released on January 15th, 2018. It was the first Beachbody on Demand workout program to follow a totally unique and innovative release process, based on REAL TIME. 80 Day Obsession is a series of 80 LIVE workouts on Beachbody on Demand. There will not be DVDs available. You will need to be a Beachbody on Demand Subscriber to access these workouts.
Workouts for the week will be released on Sunday nights, great for those early-morning exercisers ready to hit it hard Monday morning. Once the workouts are released, they will stay up onBeachbody on Demand permanently. 80 Day Obsession follows a 13-week format, with six workouts each week and a rest day. So, the entire series of 80 workouts is spread out over 91 days.
The 80 Day Obsession Workouts
What’s completely new and unique about this program is that it is filmed in REAL TIME. Meaning you get 80 workouts, day-by-day, and follow along with the cast as they transform their own bodies. Workouts are great for weight loss while toning your core and shaping your booty. The workouts are intense… but they’re SUPPOSED to be. They’re for anyone committed to seeing REAL CHANGE in 80 days. Unlike the 21 Day Fix, the workouts are longer. They range from about 45 minutes to an hour in length…. all designed to get you in the BEST SHAPE OF YOUR LIFE. Who doesn’t want that? You’ll get a total body workout, but some days focus entirely on your butt, your legs, upper body. Cardio is also part of the mix- to maximize fat burn.
There are six workouts in each phase: Leg Day, Butt Day, Total Body Core, Cardio Core, Cardio Flow (not like yoga, don’t be fooled) and TRIPLE A (arms, abs and ass). Those are the six “themes” you’ll see in each phase. Each week the rep schemes and weights used will change, so you’ll be ramping up the intensity. That’s what will keep your body from plateauing and get you those amazing results. Each phase builds upon the last one. You’ll start to see more compound movements where you’ll engage more muscle groups at the same time, meaning you’ll burn more calories.

What is “A Little Obsessed”?
A Little Obsessed is a series of five 30-minute workouts from Autumn Calabrese that give you a sneak peek of what 80 Day Obsession will be like. It was released December 20th, 2017. They’re quick workouts that give you peek into the total-body transformation program, 80 Day Obsession. To do this program, you’ll need: Small medium and heavy dumbbells. You’ll also need sliders and resistance bands.

80 Day Obsession Calendar: PHASE ONE
80 Day Obsession workouts gradually get harder in PHASES. Phase One is where you will solidify the moves and get used to the nutrition. You’ll build basic strength, put on lean muscle, and get used to the movement patterns.
In our challenge group, we completed PHASE ONE on February 11th. View some of the progress pics on my Facebook Page. Phase TWO and Phase THREE the moves get progressively more difficult to maximize results.
80 Day Obsession Calendar: PHASE TWO
Phase Two is the building phase. In this phase, you’ll be lifting heavier. You will feel stronger but the scale may not be moving as quickly. This is especially likely if you lost a good amount of weight in Phase One. You’ll see more compound movements in order to build lean muscle to create shape and definition. Your body will slow down the weight loss phase here in order to maintain and build muscle mass. It doesn’t mean things aren’t happening, it just may mean they may not be visible on the scale. Some participants get frustrated here for that reason, but it’s an important component in the program. During this part, rely more on your photos and measurements if you feel defeated due to weight loss slowdown. This phase was designed that way, so trust in the process.
You’ll also get two REFEED days during Phase Two – on days 35 and 47. With this program, it’s really important to dial in your nutrition. At the end of every phase, it’s important to re-calculate your bracket for the menu plan. If you are losing a lot of weight, it could push you into a different bracket for the container system. If you’ve lost all the weight you need to lose, it could be time to move into the maintenance plan.
80 Day Obsession Calendar: PHASE THREE
Phase Three is the shredding phase. This is the final phase where weight loss should pick up again, and you’ll lose more fat. During this phase of the calendar, you’ll be doing more plyometric moves designed to burn calories and build cardio strength, and when the lean muscle you built in Phase Two will be revealed. The final bit of “fluff” will be taken off.
80 Day Obsession Calendar: PEAK WEEK
This phase of 80 Day Obsession is the final phase. This is where it’s all blasted out of the water and you will see your results all come together!

- Sundays – Rest/Active Recovery
