When we invite people to our challenge groups, it usually goes one of four ways:
1. Yes!! I can’t wait!
2. Not right now
3. Crickets
4. Can I just purchase the workout and not Shakeology?
Having answers prepared for each situation will help you gain confidence in your inviting.
SITUATION #1: YES!!!
When you’ve taken the time to talk with your future challenger, gotten to know their goals, you’ve helped them pick out the perfect program for them they will typically respond with a resounding YES!!! That is one of the reasons why taking the time to really get to know them is crucial. When you follow-up with your “Yes” customers, keep that momentum and excitement going. “I am SO excited for you! I can’t WAIT to celebrate your success with you and see you SUPER CONFIDENT in your wedding dress from serendipity brides! Let me know if you’d like instructions on how to assign me as your coach and get what you need for our upcoming challenge group.”
When they respond back YES, that’s when you give them step-by-step instructions on how to assign you as their coach and get the challenge pack. Then, I have them “friend” me on Facebook so I can add them to my other helpful groups while we wait for the other one to start.
SITUATION #2: Not Right Now
“Sounds like something I would love to do, but I just don’t have the money right now.”
This is a still a great answer. It’s not a no. Your response can be something like this: “I completely understand it’s not a good time. I run a new group every few weeks so when you are ready, just let me know! You can still sign up for a free Team Beachbody account listing me as your coach: http://teambeachbody.com/kimdanger. That way, you’ll get notifications from me for the newest promotions as they go on sale. Also, feel free join my team’s private Facebook group so we can stay in touch: https://www.facebook.com/groups/beachreadynow/.” Try to support this person as a potential client. Invite them to your private FB groups, blog, and other social network platforms.
SITUATION #3: CRICKETS
Your potential challenger showed interest initially and asked what your Challenge Group was all about, seemed excited, but shortly after there was no response. None. Crickets. Give it 1-3 days. Remember life is busy and not EVERYONE checks their messages daily. When you’ve given them a couple days, simply shoot them a quick but direct message:
“Hey girl! Totally not trying to bug you, but I’m finalizing my June Challenge Group. I am saving you a spot!! Are you still wanting to join us?”
At this point, if they say YES, refer back to the first scenario. If they say NOT RIGHT NOW – set up a follow up time in a few weeks. If they STILL do not respond – it’s time to jot their name down on your list and move on.
SITUATION #4: NO TO SHAKEOLOGY
“Can I just purchase the workout and NOT Shakeology?”
This is a common response. I will admit that I had sticker shock as well when I saw the cost of Shakeology, so I can understand this response. However, they will NEVER value Shakeology if they do not see that you value Shakeology. If you have a personal testimonial to interject, that’s great.
“I understand your hesitancy in trying the Shakeology. I thought the same thing before I started using it, because protein shakes worked for me. Shakeology is not just a protein shake, but a meal replacement with all sorts of antioxidants, phytonutrients and other good things. By adding this to your daily menu plan while you’re on the program, you know you’re getting everything your body needs. Plus, it will help with your energy and hunger levels. We only ask you to do it for one month but I think you’ll find you’ll WANT to continue. If you absolutely don’t want to continue after that, you don’t need to. If you try it and find you don’t like it, you can send it back for a full refund. It’s really no risk to give it a try. To be a part of this challenge group, you will need to try the Shakeology for at least a month because the other challengers in the group will be using it.”
OR
“I never want money to hold you back if you’re motivated to make a change. Here are some ideas for you: If you find you don’t like it or it doesn’t work for you, you can always return your program or Shakeology for a full refund, so basically it’s a no-risk investment. Keep in mind the Challenge Pack includes 30 meals a month of Shakeology, so that’s a grocery expense you won’t have while participating in the challenge group. A few of my challengers have said that they save money on food on the 21 Day Fix because they’re not buying as much processed food and junk anymore. You can also sign up as a coach to get the discount, and cover the cost of your own program by inviting 2-3 friends to our group. I can tell you more about that if you’re interested. My last challenger was able to find that many friends simply by posting a message on her Facebook wall about the group.”
