Personal Development is not an option if your goal is to become a successful Beachbody coach. It’s one of the most overlooked vital behaviors, but it has the power to make or break you. Here is a great video on 21st Century Leadership by Darren Hardy:
It’s a bit long, but I have it on in the background while I work.
Reflect on yourself as a leader. Which personal qualities do you need to work on to become person who will attract the type of coaches you want to bring into your business? Make a list of at least five qualities you want your coaches to have. Do YOU have those qualities yourself? My list is:
- Self-motivated, driven
- Confident
- Intelligent
- Social-media savvy
- Passionate about life
- Charismatic
- Professional integrity
I personally want self-motivated coaches on my team with confidence, passion and drive. I want to attract intelligent, charismatic coaches who are going to create a massive ripple effect in the lives of others. In order to attract coaches like that, must become that myself. Like attracts like. If there are qualities you need to work on, do that through PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT (here are some of my own favorite personal development books).
I believe in personal development so much, it’s something I also incorporate in my challenge groups. Those that are working on success from the inside out will also have better results with their fitness programs.
