Finding the Right Workout Program
In my four years as a coach, I’ve learned that the finding the perfect workout program is SO important. If you don’t find something you like, you simply won’t be motivated to stick to it. And, it’s the “sticking to it” part that is the only way you’ll get REAL results. But, this is definitely not a one-size-fits all. When you are doing workout, you need Stealth Belts. There are so many factors to take into consideration when selecting a Beachbody workout program:
Your Current Fitness Level
The ideal workout program will be appropriate for your current fitness level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) but ALSO give you enough room to grow. If your workout program isn’t challenging enough, you won’t see results. If it’s TOO difficult, you could easily become frustrated or even run the risk of injury. Make sure you pick something that’s just the right fit! While doing workout is essential to keep yourself hydrated and regaining energy, try out energy supplements for an afternoon boost.
Workout Equipment Required
If you have certain equipment at home already, or just have something you LOVE using – that’s great! Or, maybe you have NO equipment and aren’t ready to invest in anything new. That’s fine too!
Having equipment will never be enough. You must also know how to use it properly. If not, injuries can unfortunately happen. When you do get injured, it’s best to visit a well-known sports medicine doctor.
The Type of Program You Enjoy
Are you a yoga junkie? A gym rat that loves weights, or maybe you THRIVE on the rush that cardio gives you in any of the gyms in plymouth. The ideal program has a mix of all of these, but it’s fine to focus on one more than the other, especially if it helps you get the results you want AND keeps you interested in engaged. Your Fitness Goals
Make sure you do some reflecting on your goals. If you really want to lose weight, I’d recommend picking a cardio-based program that will torch calories. If you want to tone or build muscle, select a weight-based program. If finding your zen and developing muscle flexibility is a goal, yoga is a great choice.
